Invested in the community:

Our Brighton staff doesn’t just work in the city, they live and volunteer in the community. Colorado Credit Union has made a significant impact in the Brighton community through our dedicated Community Impact Initiative. One notable effort includes hosting a Family Financial Literacy Night at Foundations Academy, where families engaged in hands-on activities to learn about budgeting, spending, and prioritizing needs versus wants. This event provided both parents and children with practical financial knowledge, fostering informed decision-making within households.

Additionally, our staff volunteered at the Boys & Girls Clubs' Shopneck Club in Brighton, participating in a gardening day to help prepare the club's gardens for planting. This initiative not only supported the club's plans to use the gardens for educational cooking classes but also strengthened community ties through active involvement.

Through these initiatives, Colorado Credit Union continues to demonstrate our commitment to enhancing financial literacy and supporting community development in Brighton.

Another way we support our community is by offering a free shred day annually to help our members and neighbors securely dispose of sensitive documents. Check ccu.org/events for specific dates and times.

Make sure to stop by the branch on Fridays & Saturdays and grab a freshly baked cookie to brighten your day.
