What is Colorado CU Mobile Banking?

Colorado CU Mobile Banking enables you to connect to your Colorado CU accounts from your mobile phone or other hand-held device. You will be able to easily access your balance information, transfer funds or even find a branch or ATM.

What type of accounts can I access with Mobile Banking?

Colorado CU Mobile Banking provides access to most of your Colorado CU accounts.

How much does it cost?

The service is FREE — Colorado CU does not charge a fee for Mobile Banking. However, your mobile carrier may charge you standard fees for Internet access or text messaging. For more information about these fees, please contact your carrier directly.

What phones are supported, and where is the service available?

CLICK HERE for a list of supported phones. Mobile Banking is currently supported on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows® Mobile, BlackBerry®, Palm OS Tréo and most phones that support Java applications. Colorado CU Mobile Banking is available within the U.S.

What do I need to start using "Mobile Banking?"

You can start using Mobile Banking if you have previously enrolled in I-Banking.


How do I activate Mobile Banking?

Visit on your web-enabled mobile device. For security purposes, you may be prompted to check your email for a one-time PIN to register your device.

You will have two Mobile Banking options available to you. You can use our mobile website or you can download our application to your phone.

Using a web browser on your mobile phone:

  1. Open your mobile phone’s browser and go to
  2. Sign on with the same username and password you use to login to I-Banking.

  1. Open your mobile phone’s browser and go to
  2. Click on the link at the bottom of the login page and follow the on-screen instructions. If you don't see a link to download the application, your device isn't currently supported by the application.

Is Mobile Banking secure?

Yes.  Mobile devices must be registered during the setup process and unrecognized devices will not be allowed future access to your account information.  In addition, data is encrypted between Colorado Credit Union and your device.  Still, you must follow reasonable security precautions.  As with any electronic banking service, you should never share your account number or password with anyone.

By utilizing your cell phone to conduct banking transactions and/or checking your account information, we recommend that you implement the following safety protocals:

  • Password protect the mobile device and/or mobile banking application
  • For mobile devices using the Android operating system, do not enable Android’s “install from unknown sources” feature
  • Never store usernames and passwords on the device
  • Keep the mobile device with them or secure the device when not in use
  • Frequently delete text messages received from the credit union
  • Do not modify the mobile device as it may disable important security features
  • Install antivirus software
  • Do not respond to text messages requesting personal information, such as Social Security numbers, credit/debit/ATM card numbers, and account numbers

Note: Like any computer, your web-enabled cell phone or smart phone is susceptible to viruses, malicious sites and applications. Please be sure to use the same caution when opening emails, clicking on links and surfing the web via your phone as you do with your computer.

What should I do if I lose my phone?

Change your online banking password immediately. Report the loss to your phone carrier, and ask them to disable the old phone. As always, whenever there is a possibility of unauthorized access to your account you should monitor your account closely to ensure no unauthorized transactions appear.

Can I use Bill Pay on my mobile phone?

Yes!  Simply login to Mobile Banking and select Bill Pay.  You can view, schedule and cancel payments.

Text (SMS) Banking Commands

The following commands are to be used by a properly registered cell phone with CCU’s Text (SMS) Banking. 

CCUTXT B = balances
CCUTXT H = recent history
CCUTXT H acct = recent history for acct
CCUTXT HELP = display text banking commands
CCUTXT QUIT = unsubscribe
CCUTXT X source destination amount = transfer amount from source share/loan to destination share/loan (e.g. CCUTXT X S0001 L0031 100.50)

Mobile Banking is offered FREE to our members. However, you may be charged access rates depending on your carrier. Web access is needed to use Mobile Banking. Check with your service provider for details on specific fees and charges.
